Springdale is a very active place since its rebirth in 2003. There is continuous promotion to let people know that there is
nearly 50,000 spaces available for service as well as a pet burial portion. Work never stops to refurbish and improve the
infrastructure which consists of over six miles of roadway and a mausoleum that is as good as new.

Springdale is the resting place for many notable figures of Illinois history. The work of building a computer database of internment’s is complete from 1900 to the present and now those prior to 1900 is being prepared.

During the year there is a variety of events and services available; such as the “Avenue of Flags” and wreaths.

 AVENUE OF FLAGS
The American Flag is displayed on all major holidays and other special occasions.

Each flag may have a plaque dedicating that flag to an individual. For more information please contact the office.

WREATHS
Wreaths ordered through the cemetery office are supplied and placed for $30.00 each if ordered before
October 1st. The wreaths are placed after Thanksgiving and removed after March 1st. For prices if ordered
after the first of October please contact the cemetery office.
